I just thought I would share one of the projects I created with this months Floral Rainbow kit. Its always great when you can take all your scrapbooking supplies and go beyond the page. I have had this tin sitting around for a while now which was once a poco stick biscuit tin, waiting for the right time to alter it into some sort of storage container. Well I finally decided that I needed a tin on my craft desk for pencils, especially the watercolour ones because they keep getting mixed up with the kids ones. So this is how it came to be. Not only did I fulfill an organisational task, yay for me because there are heaps of those needing to be done around here, but I reused and recycled and used my scrap supplies as well, triple bonus.
So if you have those tins that you are saving or even glass jars you can decorate them with your supplies, add a label and then fill an organisational need. I believe you can never have too much storage containers there is always something in your home that can be categorized and labeled to prevent the all too familiar and usually at 8.30am in the morning,"I can't find my.......". Yes we've all had those.
Another thing I wanted to mention, I will have some exciting news next week of our guest designer for August. She's young, confident and very creative. Here's a sneak peak of her fabulous work.
Finally if you haven't already noticed there are now some new departments on site, Decorate & Embellish which is dedicated to all things decorative for your projects ribbon, flowers, brads etc and Paint, Ink & Glitz which is dedicated to all thing altering and messy LOL!! you know what I mean if you are creative you know how using paints and inks and glitter and embossing powders etc usually isn't a clean process to say the least. As these dept are relatively new I am still loading stock on so check back to see what new products will be going up. I have had a delivery of some gorgeous product today and am awaiting another. Coming soon some gorgeous Making Memories Noteworthy II in particular the Delaney range which you can view here.
Have a great weekend everybody
Live, Create, Inspire!!... and have fun too....
